Before: I had the ability to stay out all night with my girlfriends, fueled only by a Taco Bell bean burrito.
After: I have the ability to stay up all night with a sick baby, fueled only by a 15 minute power nap.
Before: I had the ability to drive while eating a bowl of cereal and talking on the phone-- all while applying make-up.
After: I have the ability to prepare breakfast while making lunches, getting dressed and picking up the house-- all while balancing a 25-pound person affixed to my right leg.
Before: I had the ability to be up and out of the house in under 10 minutes.
After: I have the ability to pack an 50 items into a diaper bag in under 30 seconds and have room for snacks.
Before: I had the ability to sleep in past 10AM.
After: I have the ability to wake up and function at 5AM.
Before: I had the ability to spend an entire day shopping. For me.
After: I have the ability to do all my shopping online in a matter of minutes. For everyone else.

I still can't function at 5am. Kudos to you. LOL...
ReplyDelete5am... How do you do it?
ReplyDeleteIn all fairness, I just said I have the "ability" to do that... not that it happens all the time. I have become much more of a night owl than an early bird.
ReplyDeleteI think I could make those too! But, then I think. I better do the laundry first, or my husband will shoot me. :)
ReplyDeleteI love these before and after's. So true!
